Hi everyone, Mom (Verlinda) suffered a small stroke possibly earlier this week and has been non-responsive ever since. She is not eating or drinking and is now being registered only comfort care. She is in no pain that can be seen. Just letting everyone know, forward on to anyone you feel would like to know. The services will be held at Emmanuel in IGH. Keep an eye on the paper.

Ellie Crystal Darling Mellgren, precious daughter of Jennifer Darling and Jeremy Mellgren of Cambridge, died from Turner's Syndrome and was stillborn August 5, 2009 at Cambridge Medical Center.
Ellie Crystal will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Jennifer Darling and Jeremy Mellgren; brother Trey Darling; grandparents, Doug and Julie Darling, and Dana and Kim Mellgren; great-grandparents, Janice Sandeen, Donna Darling, John and Lois Winkel, and Dean and Karen Mellgren; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Mitch and daughter Ella Husom, Tabby Mellgren and Chad Luedke; and Dave and Karissa Darling.
She was preceded in death by great-grandfathers Lyle Sandeen and William Darling.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday Aug. 16 at Strike Funeral Home-Cambridge Chapel with Pastor David Everett officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service.

2008 Family Reunion in Pine City--July 26th. Noon till ? Swimming beach park. Take Pine City exit 169 off 35, take right at top of exit ramp, take left by Holiday gas station and the Park is right in front of you. Swimming beach, playground equipment, horse shoe pits, and skate board area. Bring the usual, chairs, and horseshoes if have. See you then. Debbie

5/4 big news for the Allen Family. Verlinda is going home after suffering a stroke on 4/24. Physically wonderful, but still needs out patient services. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. See you all at the family reunion. Shelly
